There are cars, there are imports, and then there is the Toyota RAV4. This generation represents one of the most iconic, best-selling Japanese vehicles to ever hit the American market, and it still holds up to this day. Despite the high miles and years this car still holds up. We spent less than our average reconditioning it, got it freshly detailed, and now it's ready to hit the road. The silver paint has aged well, especially when compared to similar years. I don't think this one got that aftermarket crap that was put on a lot of these cars that made their paint age like milk. There's a couple scuffs and scratches, but inside and out this is an extremely well taken care of car. There are 26 service records available on the Carfax, and it has a good reliability from them as well. There was one incident of minor damage back in 2017 but it was it at 55,000 miles. It has been driven a significant amount since then. It has a 2.5L engine and a FWD drivetrain with an automatic transmission. It's 28mph on the highway and 22mpg in the city. The trunk is an actual door that swings open rather than lifts, and there's plenty of cargo space with the back row seats up or down. The iconic trunk mounted spare tire still has its cover and it has roof racks mounted on the top. All around, this is a great budget option for the reliability that Toyota offers.
